What's new

This twelve year-old needs a medal.

I really don't see why vandalism is seen as a commendable effort. (Yes, I do "naughty" things because they're fun, but nothing that's permanently damaging - sidewalk chalk, writing in dust, etc :p)

At your service, dood!
This is why the painting should be under a thick sheet of glass at all times - no way that gum can damage it with that and it will remain perfectly preserved.

That Damn Good
That is pretty funny. I too agree that it should be under some kind of glass so this kind of thing doesn't happen again.

This reminds me of the man who recently went into a Museum in England, tripped and smashed an extremely valuable vase. He has now been banned from returning. I think he was right in saying if it were that valuable why was it left on a ledge whereby everyone could touch it or accidentally knock it :)

Oh come on, he's twelve years old. It's not like he planned out a malicious vandalistic assault on a priceless painting. How did you think when you were twelve? Here's what he was thinking, I garauntee it.

"Oooh painting, haha, check this out." *sticks gum*

Vandalism in a twelve year old is funny because it's innocent. If it was a 45 year old, I'm sure he'd be in prison and would be sued for more than the value of the painting. But as it is, people are making the best of it... except you.

I had a decent idea of what is right/wrong and acceptable when I was twelve. Sure, I did my share of dumb things but no permanent/expensive damage ever came of it.

Oh, but kids are getting dumber by the hour with this sort of thing and masters by the minute on getting girls pregnant.

O really? So you're telling me that when you were twelve and an oppourtunity arose to impress those around you (mind you this was on a school field trip), you would have decided against it because you knew it wasn't "acceptable". I guess some kids do mature early.

I said no permanent or expensive damage came of it. Read things carefully. Believe it or not, some people are still taught respect. :p
