There's a cricket in my apartment...

and I can't find the fecker. I think he's hiding under my entertainment center. Damn thing's too heavy to move, so I'm gonna have to wait him out.


Anyone know how long crickets live?

Depends on the weather, and since its prolly pretty hot under your entertainment center, prolly a few years, especially if you keep dropping nacho crumbs on the floor

Crickets are majorly common here too!!! BTW, I remembered hearing a cricket in a janitor closet of a school one day.

ahahah! the light in my room is up on the ceiling and has a cover on it, but one time i found a fucking cricket in it.... i wonder how the little fucker got up there... a hole in the ceiling? i dont know...

Sad to say, the cricket lives. Or he had a friend. Either way, he's chirping as I type.

I wonder if it would take to bicarbonate of soda!? Remember mixing that with bread crumbs and feeding the birds......messy!

Nothing will take the bicarbonate of a soda. Depending on the brand, you can dissolve an iron nail in a glass of soda in a week.

Yup, I've done that before. Friend and I bought two boxes of Alka Seltzer and fed the tablets to the birds at a nearby amusement park. Nothing funnier than seeing a cloud of feathers and dead meat falling out of the sky on a Saturday afternoon. xD Birds can't burp so the gas buildup in their system is fatal.
