GBC (sold it after I got my GBA)

Yup, but the DS design does not please, unfortunately. It looks too much futuristic, i'm still that old school gamer. Moreover, a GBA is way cheaper than a DS here. And for my needs, a GBA would fit well... but you've reminded me about the retro-compatibility! I can spend a little more bucks to get a "2-1" console.

And I cannot find why people dislike the design of the DS nor complain about the layout and things. It's perfect. And it looks nice. =] Okay, well, the shoulder buttons should be like on the GC controller or the PS2 or whatever. It's still kinda ankward to keep holding your fingers on them.

Is it "cool" enough to be worth 50 dollars more than the regular GBA, when I already had one and a newer gen handheld was going to be out in a matter of years? The SP simply improved on simple things. It wasn't so amazing, that I needed it.
