This was made by a group of people at the british satellite provider Sky (for the channel Sky One), they showed it occasionally late in evening (at peak time) as Sky show LOTS of Simpsons episodes. It was part of their promotion for the new series which they were beginning to air that week.

Only thing wrong with it is they didn't even get their clothes right, like marge wears a green dress and has long blue hair, she looked nothing like marge's character.

Still it is quite impressive, could've put more effort into it though considering it took them 18 months to make it.
