The Legend of Zelda problems

Can someone please tell me why my Zelda ROM isn't working? ie: All the grass is black and i can't see anything that is blue. I have the original game and it defintentally doesn't look like it. Can someone please help me?

If I had to take a blind stab at this, I'd say that your hardware is below minimum requirements. Post your computer specs.

Run dxdiag. Check the first page for overall computer specs and then the Display tab for the info pertaining your video card.

sorry to interrupt..but about specs, what would be the best graphics card to run with 1964 and rice's video plugin?

ati cards are realy good for it but with 64mo minimum of video ram(128 is better) but nvidia are good too

there is no best graphics card, and ati and nvidia cards is a very general statement, id reccomend atleast the (higher end fx series or)6600 nvidia series or atleast the ati 9600 series, of course higher is always better, these are reccomendations not requirements

If your on a budget and running an AGP motherboard, then either a 7800GT (make sure its agp) or a 6800XT Agp would be great. But PCI-e beats the dying AGP any day. Also don't forget the processor, if its too old then it will bottleneck your GPU no matter how high end your video card is.
