A few days left technically, but there's nothing on my wanted list I can't wait for. Scored some deals this month:
VJ2 - $9
DQ8 - $35
Geist - $20
GM (reprint) - $45 (given that ebay prices used to range 80-100, I'd call that a deal)

This brings the collection to 103 -- 30 GC and 73 PS2

What's Geist like?

Can't say just yet. Only played about a half-hour of it, then into the queue it went. What I played I did like though, despite some glaring (and well-documented) flaws.

I predict it's a game I'll ultimately enjoy, but I'll be thankful I didn't pay full price for it.

All looks like fun games. Especially Dragon Quest VIII.

I've got Prince of Persia 3 and Final Fantasy IV to occupy me for awhile though.

I've developed a collector's mentality recently. Though I plan on playing everything eventually, sometimes it's just about finding a good deal (like VJ2) and adding it to the collection "just for the hell of it."

Can't make a call on DQ8 yet. What little I played was captivating though. As corny as that sounds, there's just something about the game that grabbed me the moment I booted it up. Tons of charm I suppose, which I value highly in my games (i.e. We <3 Katamari ).
