I have never had aol as an ISP (thank god) but have seen it at my uncles house. Annoying slow service that is just buttloaded with advertizements that hog up what little bandwidth you have, yet you still have to pay $23 a month for. Why somebody would sign up with that is way beyond me, I wouldn't even take it if it was free, its so irritating. (yes I even stand by that, I got 6 months of free aol with my laptop and haven't even touched it.)

As for the people I meet who use aol, of the hundreds of them, there are only 2 who actualy haven't pissed me off. When I hear other people in forums say americans are dumb, its probably because most of the ones they meet are using aol.

In fact, heres another thing I might add, I heard from somewhere (unconfirmed from what I am aware) that most people who cheat in multiplayer games are aol'ers. Actualy make that two things, go on efnet and type /who *aol* and you will see the word gay in like 3/4ths of the names.

I got this mail from him:

"Has my account been disabled? My user name is 2bzy4ne1 on emutalk. I just got back from vacation and I can't log in to emutalk. It shows me this message where it says that I don't have permission to access this page. Every time I log out and try to log back in, it shows me that message. Did I do anything wrong? And if I did, can I do anything about it? Thanks for reading... "

What do you think I should do?

I think I've seen the guy post before. If it is the guy, the i say for ban him.

Unban him so that he can view this thread and reply - if his answer is lame then permanent ban. Otherwise you could just ask him for an explanation via Email.

I just did and I am totally clueless to what has happened. I will explain myself. First of all, I have been on vacation since July 3. My away message has been on since then. Next, as you can see in those pictures, the date says july 5. That couldn't have possibly been me. I wasn't able to access a computer at that time. So I think that someone is trying to frame me. But who? That's what I would like to know. If you believe me, i salute you. If you don't, then I understand since you could still be mad at whoever could have done that to Martin. i will say this again. That person on the other boards was not me at all. i have never been on that board or posted on it in my life. I have explained this to Martin already and I think he understands. Now all that matters is to find out who has been impersonating me these past couple of days.

examine the FACTS and go from there.when you get the IP results and they match his then he is banned. if they dont match his then it was becasue he was on vacation and used a different computer right? so i guess you will never know what happened either way so just let it go.

If you are going to ban the whole AOL network, i think that it is the best to create a list of free internet providers, so that people can make a choise between other providers before they leave AOL. not? and about 2bzy4ne1, i think that we will never know if it was him or not, since the most providers gives different IP's every connect.

The ip doesn't all change all the time. Usually the ip will look like this every time: 122.77.34.X (or something similar). The last three digits may change, but the rest rarely does.

So I think we can figure it out. Unless the guy's using an ip changer.
