  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Textures are corrupted looking...

I can successfully modify all of the png textures, but when I try a bmp, it ends up looking like this!

only edit the textures in the ci_by_png, png_all and png_by_rbg_a. You dont need to edit any bmp textures at all.

Hmmm.... it's pretty weird. I'm actually changing Mario's fireball graphic now, and when I edit just the graphic in the ci_by_png folder, Mario's fireball changes only in Break the Targets and Board the Platforms, but not in any VS play! Advice?

EDIT: Wait, hold on, I think I may have been stupid and know what's wrong... I never texture dumped in VS play...

EDIT THE SECOND: Yeah, that worked.
