Tech Guys! Please Help!

hello everyone

ill keep it short; i have been using p64 1.5 and everything worked well; but when i installed the service pack it stop working!! i have everything necesary to run it (direct x9, good windows, good n64, isp, the patches, etc etc) thoug i dont know how or what they really do.( i rename my roms,but thats about it)

when i open a rom it just doesnt emulate! no error messages or anything; the screen turns black and in the bottom it says emulation started...but nothing, ive tried different roms

i had the same problem with the sp2 upgrade. i just uninstalled pj64, used the regedit uninstallation bat files, and reinstalled pj64. everything's fine now.

could someone elaberate on that, make it clearer (when it comes to tech stuff im like duhhh)

Needalight, you've posted in an old thread for v1.5.
v1.6 has an uninstaller in windows add/remove programs which clears registry settings for you.
the .reg files are no longer included.
the uninstaller will not delete your save games etc.
