GODLIKE
let me ask you this.. would you let your kids play mario with a REAL gun?..
i doubt it.. then again.. i doubt you have kids.. but for the sake of argument..
if you know what the game is about.. then you'll know WHY he has a watercanon/tank on his back.. you still play mario just like b4.. if you want.. you can play thru the lvls without using the watercanon.. but it's required for bosses for ovious reasons.. and there are places you can't get too if you can't float.. unless you have a yoshi with you.. honestly.. if you know what the game is about.. you'll know WHY he has a watergun..
you might ask yourself.. "yeah but why make it like that to start with".. the thing with that is.. why not?.. tell me one good reason?.. tell me something kids love to do?.. play with water comes to mind.. and not only that.. it's an addition that isn't violent and true to the mario style.. you can't expect mario to run around with a real gun and being drunk like conker
..
as for cell-da.. when you see it.. you'll love it.. unless you didn't like any of the other zeldas.. and cell-shading is VERY popular in japan.. all the new animes are using it.. and if you know how japan works.. anime is a type of tradition to them.. you have to remember these guys are from japan.. and they'll follow the trend from over there.. for me.. i find it refreshing.. it's something new.. and untouched.. because there are other cell-shaded games out there allready.. but non of them is a franchise or an adventure/RPG game.. also.. you do know that it won best console game award at tokyo gameshow don't you?
.. that should tell you something.. + most magz are giving it a 9-10.. or 90-100%..
edit:
and it beat all the other GC games.. wich i did not expect it to do.. at least not metroid.. because that i know of.. there are SO many ppl that doubt this new look over there too..
