Firstly, someone should make this thread sticky so ppl can put all their suggestions in one place as suggested by someone

Secondly, my suggestion is that 1964 should incorporate a cheat system that lets you modify the memory, sort of like nemu has. for example, i might want to modify a in game score which may seem to be impossible to atain through my skill alone. plz don't flame if there is a way to do this, 'cause i've looked everywhere and still can't find anything of the like.

it has this functionality, since this is what the gameshark does. It doesn't contain an internal debugger or the ability to find those addresses on the fly, but adding that functionality would surely add more bugs, and I'm sure we would all love to see the release happen even later.

i have this problem with ridge racer... See, if I want to eat toast while I play ridge racer, I have to leave the game, go upstairs to the kitchen, and prepare the toast manually. Can the new version of 1964 make toast automatically for me? That way I can play ridge racer and eat toast at the same time. That would be really cool.

toast prep is slated for 1964 3.0, though it won't support levels of done other than "pale brown" and "burnt to a crisp" until 3.5. 3.0 will support putting butter, jam, vegemite, or marmalade on your toast, however.r

i have a workaround, though it may not provide the EXACT functionality you require.

first you have to put your PC immediately next to the front door.
then you need to get a cell phone, and for best results, a charger that is reachable near the mouse.

then you can order pizza whle playing RR 64, and have it delivered right to you.

the problem is that pizza is not toast, and is somewhat more expensive than toast. the good news, however is that i prefer pizza to toast, generally.

when the pizza guy gets there, you will need money also. there may be some other forums to help you collect money, although i recommend setting up windows xp IP messenger spam, as it is very annoying for the end user.

that sounds like a great workaround, although I'm not sure the cell phone is necessary, as my house is already equipped with a cordless phone.

Also, do you think that this same workaround will work with goldeneye multiplayer? Or do you think I'd have to order more than one pizza?

lol, losta good replies there of course i do not want to delay the release of the next version. i thought mebbe it should be added to a later one. and besides, if the authors are using oop, then adding a debugger wouldn't cause many bugs anyways.....

It's nearly impossible to be able to emulate every game on a certain system. I mean look at the nes emulators. Not every nes game is emulated perfect. There will always be at least one game that won't be emulated for a while.

Yes, there are several NES games that still don't even start on emulators. But I do think it's possible to make every Nintendo 64 game at least playable on an emulator. Because:

1) One emulator can use many plugins. Different video, sound, input and RSP plugins can be used for each game.

2) The Nintendo 64 doesn't have nearly as many games as the NES.

I intend to say that the important thing is to focus on the emulation of the games
The secondary changes make to waste a lot of time
For example i have found a freeware software (2 mbyte) for windows that make the same things of the command SUBST for the DOS!
