Many members (I am one of them) noticed that if u rename anything at FFCC gcm that change don't works...

When u open the gcm after rename. the name is unchanged (like movie - movBA) after (movie)...

And another thing...

This is my only gcm (5 i have now) that, when i use gCm shrinker or wipe garbage-bytes, loses its Icon.

Why these things happens???
Anyone knows???

The banner was probably intermingled with the garbage bytes.

No... I don't think so.

The garbage-bytes are between files and at the end of the TOC and thge start of the data... The Icon is a data. so it couldn't be deleted with garbage

Note: It wasn't deleted... it only went Black. When u shrink it... it is deleted

I know same thing here :plain:
I dont know about the banner but i think the ff:cc gcm has a protection or something because most of the folders are in the DVD directory

hmmm, maybe a bad dump from the internet...
i will try with my pal-gcm

//edit: ok, you're right. Renaming of movie doesn't work. Shrinking kills the banner... Maybe kinda protection or something...

I tried with MY gcm. Gladiac0190...

What I think that is strange is the fact that this is the ONLY game I saw that has this problem...

but why only THIS image?!... and the shrinker is not part of gc-tool so i don't think that it is a bug in gc-tool.

I have DISCOVERED!!!!!!!!!!! :p :p :p :p :p :p

The problem is with the GC-tool... It just can't rename a folder that is inside another folder!!!!

Like: U can rename dvd --> dv1, but u can't rename a folder inside dvd...

This can cause the program to delete, by mistake, the bytes of the icon with garbage...

The shrinker is only beta and "destroys" many GCM (not only FFCC)

The only thing I just can't understand is WHY the program can't rename a folder that is inside another folder and WHY this cause it to mistake bytes... I know it is only beta... but...
