The Rocking PC Wiz
When overclocking my 256 MB Kingston ValueRAM PC2100 DDR SDRAM to 150 mhz, it was fine. Memtest86 had been running for at least 8 hours with still no errors, then all of a sudden, the power went out briefly. After, the motherboard refused to power on and thus I was forced to unplug the power supply then plug it back in for the motherboard to power back on. Even more strange, my motherboard now will fail to even POST with the 256 MB Kingston ValueRAM PC2100 DDR SDRAM at 150 mhz, but appears to be OK at 145 mhz.
Why would a power failure cause my RAM to fail at 150 mhz now?
