str - Error to start video!

I open up 1964 and when I open up the SuperMario64.rom and it says "Error to start video!" and then it goes really slow and you can hear it lagging but running as slow as possible! I am using the render engine: DirectX 9 or 8! I have a Dell Dimenson E510 and a RADEON X600 256MB HyperMemory and HyperMemory Secondary! Can someone help? Thanks!

use the rice video plugin that works for me and my pc sux dont use any of the direct x 9 plugins they usualy dont work use rrice or daudles plugin ok
