Standard PC Gaming Controls

I haven't played a PC game since Doom 2 so I don't know much. I was wondering what the standard controls are for both shooters (Perfect Dark, Goldeneye) and adventures (Banjo-Kazooie, Super Mario 64) so I can set the controls for PJ64. This would include stuff like aiming, strafing, zooming, reloading and firing in shooters and adjusting the camera, jumping, attacking and just moving around in adventure games. Would anybody care to fill me in? Thanks.

I meant that I wanted to know the controls on a keyboard and mouse. I've been using my Xbox controller and a Joybox 11 to play roms up until now. Yesterday I bought a good keyboard and mouse. I used to use a laptop with a touchpad and that didn't seem right for gaming.

For a PC game?

Most importantly, WASD for movement + mouse to look. Where A and D are strafe left/right, not turn left/right.

The rest is your preference, usually Ctrl or C for crouch, Z/X for stance up/stance down, sometimes Q/E to bend left/right. Shift to walk, Space to jump, E to use, R to reload, T to chat, etc.
