Specific Game Combality

Get real, we are here to play "real" gamecube games on a gamecube emulator, not games with horrible graphics that happen to be on the GC that are ports from older consoles.

Some of you people i just...... i don't know. Brains, missing, maybe?
Wow... I've been reading posts from you, and the only thing he's good for here is bashing the Dolphin. If it runs on a GCN, it's a for the GCN. It doesn't have to be 3D. It doesn't have to be pretty. It just has to be for the GCN. You, sir, might be the one missing brains with your flawed logic.

We are here to play gc titles we cannot play on anyother emulator, mario sunshine, ssbm, metriod prime, zelda ww/tp, not games with bad graphics. I'm sure you can understand that.

So, if it is released for other systems, it's not a GCN game? That means that only a few third-party and the first and second-party games can be GCN games? Oh wait, that also means that TP isn't for the GCN nor the Wii. I suppose that's not a game then. :plain:

The point of emulating ANY console is to have it be as fully emulated as possible and run ANY software the original console can. No developer bases compatibility for a game on whether or not it looks good. Full emulation is always the ultimate goal.;)

We can't play tp on anything other than a gc emu, that's the point. I was arguing with the guys who were saying games are playable on dolphin and "technicaly" they are right, but not games that have good graphics or are real titles that are giving the dev's trouble emulating.. the games we are here to see emulated, the rest we can get from other emus. Playing bust a move is not ground breaking work, i know it takes time, i know it will be done in the future, but i doubt they set out to emulate bust a move and are happy with it, If you asked them i bet they would say having bust a move working is not a very great feat, it's a start and is great having that work which shows progress, but not what we are looking for, really.

Just don't say games are working when they are clearly not, but they will one day.

But that's not what you were implying. In fact, you even flamed someone. And the fact that Bust-a-Move works is progress (and you even said that) is a step to making other games work. Besides, why should you be complaining in the first place? You should be grateful that people are actually allowing you to have an emulator or, at least, a framework of a working one.

And by the way, a game works when it moves. It doesn't have to be 60 fps. It just have to move.

Nope, it will be slow but not the same speed... Like mentioned before: There's currently no hardware on the market that can emulate the emu at speeds like of the real GC Game.

Unless you either use a game like Busta2k3 or a real GC..
