sound skips :(

hi i dl project64 and liked it alot but i got a problem, the sound skips all the time. iv tried to change sound plugins but its the same with them too..
i got about 40fps so i dont think its my slow system (500mhz, tnt, creative 64)

anyone got a idea on how to fix this?

Actually your slow system is too blame I'm afraid. For most roms you need fps in sync with the real N64 to have smooth sound that equals 60fps for NTSC roms and 50 for PAL.

BTW...I suggest you try to upgrade your specs, or... :lookaround: use 1964.

no cuz it sucks, 1964 gives me no sound whatever plugin i use, no video and plugin dosent seem to work with video on 1964..
and it craches allt the time...

and no again, it dosent have anything to do with my system, at the options screen in 007 i get 150fps, but the music still skips..

anyone got an idea why?

the problem is that u get 150 fps.... turn on the speed limiter
