Sound problems.

Greetings, I recently was playing both Goldeneye 007 and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire and my sound was constantly cracking/popping/clicking. I honestly don't know why and am sort of new at this :)p), so if possible, give me step-by-step instructions on how to correct this problem.

Thank you. :D

Did you try syncing the game to audio in the audio plugin's configuration dialog (assuming default jabo's audio plugin)?

its probably running too slow... i wish people would the documentation, this is clearly explained... or you'd have said "it's running at 60 and still crackles"

Yeah I get the same problem on my laptop when my processor is running at 500MHz. By making it run at 1800MHz, the problem is fixed with most games.... unfortunatly my laptop overheats within 15 minutes, so I can't enjoy all that great sound for long, lol.
