Sound Problem

I just downloaded 0.9.9 and the speed is amazing. But there's no sound coming out of it! If I go to a menu screen and then exit, a sound from the song playing will repeat over and over again. I tried to click on Audio Settings, but nothing came up at all! Can someone tell me what's wrong?

download different audio plugins and put it in 1964's plugin folder because maybe schibo's audio doesnt work for your sound card

I found a bunch of audio plugins, and I didn't have any luck. The one that worked the best played the sound without too many problems, but the sound skipped sometimes (I adjusted the buffer and sometimes it worked a little better but never good enough)

I'm not sure how to check my sound drivers. I'm not that smart in this area of computers, so sorry if I sound stupid. Here's some other info:

Widnows XP
Intel Pentium III
902MHz
384 MB of RAM

Similar problem....

I'm not getting any audio at all, despite trying several different plugins. Nothing in the percentages at the bottom even indicates the core is trying to process audio.

SoundBlaster Live 5.1, using the most recent driver pack from Creative. (Just downloaded, installed, rebooted - still a problem.)

Running Windows 2000 on an AMD Athlon XP chip.

No clue what might be going on - maybe I've somehow disabled the sound, but I can't find a menu option that'd turn it back on.

I got mine working, actually. Use Azimer's Audio v0.40 Beta 2, then make sure "Enable Audio Fix" "Sync Gameplay to Audio" and "Use v0.21 style audio" are all checked. Then set the buffer size to the higher possible.

That's how I got the sound working 100% perfect for me. The games slow down a couple frames, but they're still playable.

peace be with beer!
download project 64 (not for thr emulator but for the drivers) steal jabbos off of it and put them in the 1964 plugins folder, they work with almost all of the games,
