Sound Issues

I don't get any sound in any game whatsoever, despite trying all audio plugin... what's the deal? Can anyone help me here?

Does your sound work on your PC Games? You might wanna try uninstalling and reinstalling 1964.

Does your sound work anywhere else in your computer? Are your speakers on? Are your speakers plugged into the right port of your soundcard?

Basic stuff! And yes, the sound works with stuff like cstrike for a start.

The speakers are plugged in etc etc.

It's totally bizarre and nobody else seems to have this trouble!

Anybody else got any solutions I can try?

Hmm, have you tried all sound plugins? With your specs, I would recommend using jabo's. Also make sure that when using jabos that you use the rsp from pj64.

I have a similar card, sound works great with Jabo's 1.5. Make sure you have RSP enabled for it.

Also you might want to try Azimer's audio 0.20b (driver rev 1.1). Those are the two audio plugins I use most.

I've lost sound recently. Since I had to reinstall XP my sound in 1964 & pj64 has disapeered, Mupen sound is only there for some plugins and it's very rough. I hadn't looked into it further as I've been playing N64 games on my xbox instead.
