Soul Calibur & Dead or Alive 2 LE problems

Hello i'm new to CHANKA and I think that's the greatest emulator i've ever seen. I have a problem with Soul Calibur. The game runs slow as if every frame were drawn. :yawn:

Is anyone has an advice to configure the emulator?

For Dead or alive i've read the thread in the forum that is talking about how to launch the game (here : http://emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=21191&page=3&pp=15) . But I don't understand the DATA folder and what files i have to copy in. Can someone help?

My config is :
PENTIUM IV 2.6 Ghz overclocked to 3.09 Ghz
1 GB of RAM
an ATI RADEON 9800 Pro 128 MB

This emulator is in alpha stage so expect many problums and headakes...

Try reading the manual for speed issues or just wait for new releases, there is another release coming soon. DOA2 you have to modify so it runs on chankast. Use quickboot, search for it on google or someware.

heres a crash corse:

Copy all files from the game cd to the "data" folder.
Remove the read only attribute of all files. (I couldn't really do this but it worked anyway, so wont worry too much if you cant do this step)
Move "1ST_READ.BIN" and "IP.BIN" in the main folder ("QuickBoot"). (You'll need to find those two files someware on this forum, you need em')
Run "QuickBoot.bat" and follow the instructions.

Check the "tools" folder if you need to get the "IP.Bin" file from
either a selfboot CD or selfboot CDI images.

If all goes well, you'll have a new cdi image called "image.cdi" or something that is of the game. This is NOT a user frendly program so don't expect to crack the game right away... However, there was a GUI one made that is way easer. Look for the topic about that in this forum.

There will be a next release this weekend (I heard that from a thread somewhere).

One thing i didn't mention, doa2 always runs slow ingame, i think thats a chankast bug. I'm doing more tests with the new 0.25 release, but I fear that the ussue hasn't been fixed. If anyone has any different experences with doa2le (it not being slow), I would be greatful to hear about em'.
