I'm sure you're not going to have to unscrew anything to put a fresh recharged battery in. I had an early-model Sony Discman than only used a custom rechargeable battery and battery life was only about 5 hours so I just got a second battery. And people who travel often can just get an AC adapter that works on planes... like you can do with laptops. Anyone who says that 5 hours of battery life is not enough is really saying that the thing is so amazing that it would be a trajedy if something prevented them from using it all day long.
