Well, in the US every Sonic Heroes commercial I've seen so far has ended with the GC logo and the 'gamecube...' whisper.

Hah. There is no way in hell Ty is better than Sonic Heroes. Ty had to be one of the most ZzZzZzZ inducing games I've played.

edit: I just noticed the review Moose Jr. posted was the PS2 version.

I'm thinking in buying "Sonic Heroes" game to Gamecube, but I'm not sure. Years a couple of years algo I bought "Sonic adventure" to Dreamcast, and I didn't like it at all; it hasn't nothing to see with genesis's Sonic games. If someone could tell me if it's worthy to get "Sonic heroes", I would be very thankfull.

I bought Sonic Heroes for XBOX not long after it was first released. I was a bit dissapointed (there was a hell of a lot of hype for this game), but really, in comparison to the other 3D Sonic games, it's probably the best.

I like Team Chaotix the most; they have the most interesting missions.

Bah, I played the NGC one, i think its just bad, just. plain. bad. The Reason Why? It's slow. I played sonic on the genesis for one reason, it was a FAST platformer, #2 espically. Somewhere along the way, sega lost sight of the, "WE WILL MAKE A GAME THAT WILL SHAKE YOUR TEETH LOOSE IT IS SO FAST!" goal, which is sad, because speed is what sonic was all about.

I haven't played Heroes yet, but Sonic Adventure 2 is better than the first Sonic Adventure.

... which isn't saying much. Neither of the DC games were anything like as good as the Megadrive Sonics. They didn't become any better when they were ported to Gamecube. Sad but true.

I disagree, I like Sonic Adventure 2 a lot.

And they certainly did become better! SA2's audio was dramatically improved (better samples, much cleaner sound, much less compression). The controls are also less... argumentative? And the camera freaks out less often.

Hey, I didn't say they were bad games. I completed both 1 and 2 for the DC, and even enjoyed the first, which most people didn't seem to. I've only played SA2 GC for a short time, but it seemed just as problematic as the DC version (not fatally flawed, just kind of irritating). Can't say I noticed camera angle improvements.

The bottom line is that they just weren't anything like as good as the Megadrive games. Although I'll admit I'm unable to qualitatively judge those games, as I'm massively nostalgic about them...

don't really like many of the newer versions, the DC versions were ok, but the megadrive/gg/master system versions i find much more addictive

No, the camera just doesn't freak out as often (if you're playing as, say, Knuckles or Rouge). Otherwise the angles are the same as the DC version.

neh i think this is a dissapointment compared to the others, i dont like the 3 team on screen idea. i wished it stayed to the one cause that can pick up speed then. With 3 it doesnt go as fast.
