Notice the monitor having 'GLOW' on it means that it has enough electron flow inside to cause the phosphers to elctroluminesce!

I would have liked to see bits flying out the screen (arcs) however this is unlikely, since CRT's have 35kv in them normally and arcs do not fly out its surface (although you can get zapped at initial turn on).
