hey, first of specs. AMD Turion x2 1.8ghz 2gb ram NVidia8400m

I get a lot of lag in high resolution but sometimes it doesnt come right away

I'd like to know what plugins I should install and also if increasing my virtual memory would help matters any also does PJ64 take Dual Core into account?

Thanks and cheers

No, Project64 doesn't take dual core into account. Modern computers are fast enough to emulate the Nintendo 64 on a single core fast enough.

I notice that it fluctuates I have the FPS limiter on and it'll just go from 60 to 15 then 30 then all over the place it's annoying

Well, what you have described there sounds suspiciously like the behavoir of vsync. Perhaps disable vsync in the NVIDIA control panel and turn on Triple Buffering or Transfer Memory in Jabo's D3D plugins, and see if that helps a bit.

Will 1.7 support dual core? I would really love to have some extra speed on those games that don't run as fast as they should.

I don't think it does right now, but i don't have it.

also, some games that don't run as fast as they should may be having sync problems. On one i know you can disable FPS limit and enable audio syncing to fix this, but i forget which one :\
