I got this PM this morning. I for one am going to miss Stalkid64 on these boards and I hope he comes back someday.

Not really much to say beyond the fact that in all likelyhood, I won't be visiting emu64/emutalk anymore after today. Even with all the fun of the last couple of weeks, it's started to get extremely tiresome for me. I've gotten so bored visiting only to be `attacked`(read: criticised without attempt at understanding) for any post I make that I'd rather leave while I still remember how enjoyable this place used to be.

They finally made me tired of coming here, and I hope they think its worth it when the boards turn into a repetitive factfest, void of any real thought or opinion, because thats what they seem to want. That wasn't the scene I first got into, and I'm sad to see it all came to this.

The only reason the thread he is talking about turned into a
'factfest' was because he increasingly posted his opinion as if it were factually accurate.

Stalkid64, I would have appreciated it, if you could have replied to my post before leaving - was it or was it not factually accurate without being an attack? So certainly I hope none of your criticsm is aimed towards my direction.

I see him saying "factfest" as more of a word which describes the newbies joining and asking the same stupid questions and roms and settings, and most or which are stated in the Project64 FAQ or can be found from other resources with little ease.

He actually said he had a few to send to you before he went, Marty. Did you get them?

NO, no no Jaz, I didn't mean it like that. What I meant was that he was probably getting sick of newbies asking the same questions over and over about roms and settings for emulators. I didn't mean that he was doing it!:plain:

i did a few reviews a while back, need updating though, i went through all the big emus of the time, ata time pj64 wasn't released... Rjx still has them i think, ill give him a prod see if i can update em ^_^

I've got a review I should post soon, of F-Zero DD.

But I blame Martin anyway. ;)
