so how does the game cube read it's game cd's?

IT READS
the disk is a mini dvd which is made up of disc polycarbonate with one or more metal layers capable of storing digital information... and it uses laser to analyze the information

How does my CD-ROM drive read the CD's? :/
I just don't get it? Are there like little aliens in there spinning the disc and watching the disk surface wiz by? Then they use a keyboard to send the info on to the pc. That must be t´he way it's done, yes.

the reason why is because my game cube will not play any of the new games!!like the new star fox game for the game cube.it plays super smash bros m. real good.but it will not play res evil!!!!

i just bought the game cube system with 3 games.

lol what a fool, if u had any common sence, u'd get off your lazy ass and complain to nintendo/the retailer. And mabie the GC would probably read the discs if u dont play about with the lazer/insides
