So close to getting chanka to work, please help!

Ok, i've got chanka .25, along with the dc bios and dc flash files. I also installed daemon tools 3.46. I wanted to test out powerstone which I got originally in a .nrg file (nero?), and use magic iso to convert it to iso. Then i mounted the iso through daemon tools and started the program. The problem is that when it starts up it goes into the music section thinking the game is a music cd or something. And when you try and go to play from the dc menu it just says insert game disk. I have the right drive selected in chanka, so i know thats not the problem. I tried installing the latest aspi drivers and set the config to use that but it just does the exact same thing. any ideas???

Try mounting it with the original file. If it doesn't work, then you're file is corrupted.

it could be that it isnt a selfbooting game. try to either use the boot disc or make it selfbootable using the tutorial.

Try to Daemon tools 3.29 it's should work.

Ok. For one Daemon's Tools is perfectly capable of mounting nero images (*.nrg). Sometimes converting images can create problems.

Like rcgamer said it may not be a selfboot game. In this case you will have to take extra steps to get the game to work.

yea what the guy on top of my reply say, i tried using magic iso to convert the file to test it out the different and it never load. but when i load the nrg it works fine.

my friend has exactly the same problem, except that the game is on CDR. Any ideas?
