Anyhoo, I also started with Snes9x and used it for a while before I discovered ZSNES. Initially the GUI was a bit odd, but now I know the program in and out. The reward I got in switching was great.
In the same way, I switched to Kega Fusion for Megadive after using Gens, and I switched to Gens after using DGen for a while when I started emulation.
For Master System, I also switched from FreezeSMS to Kega Fusion, and now I'll probably switch to Gens Plus for it's superior video modes when it gets a little less buggy.
I switch emulators all the time when I discover a better one, and thus I seem to collect them.
