Small cracking sounds when play Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

I have noticed when playing legend of zelda: ocarina of time I would hear small cracking sounds at different points in the game. How can I fix this?

They might be in-game, actually. For example, there might be a Skulltula nearby, or you walked through a shrub, or etc.

If not, you could try switching your audio plugin to Jabo's. That seems to work best on Ocarina of Time.

Go to menu Options > Configure Audio Plugin. Check the "Sync Game to Audio" box.

I am using Jabo's DirectSound 1.6 for the Audio Plugin and when I go to Options > Configure Audio Plugin. The "Sync Game to Audio" box is grayed out, so what do I gotta to so I can check-mark it.

Sorry, I didnt know I had to start the game and then check the option. I'll do that now and post my results in a few minutes.

I use azimer audio hle wip 2 and i don't have crackings in any game.
