i cant figure out why this is happening!! i have been playing for like 2 weeks and it has been just fine but all of a sudden it goes all laggy and its pissing me of lol any help??

i didnt mess with anything and if you mean specs as in what my computer is well its a brand new inspiron 1521 with 2 gigs of ram, im not totally sure about the rest
Right so which processor are you using?
The X3100 is an integrated graphics controller thus uses your systems memory. Even if you have 2gigs your bandwidth will have a conflicting load on it with refreshing the display.
What resolution are you displaying it at? Is it full screen or in a window ..
Lots of things even if you didn't 'twiddle' anything.
However notebooks are much slower than desktops on graphics intensive applications (IE games) especially emulation.

I have a AMD 64 Athlon X2 dual core, so id ontthink its my processor and i usually use the window not the fullscreen.
on a side not, is there some way to wipe the slate clean (refesh it so it plays like when i first got it) without actually losing my saved data.
