IMO, stick with normal style and black style. That's all you need.

I wasnt here when we had the dark design so I dont know what it was like but it sounds better than this

I think the desing here is pretty good, specially, its fast, though many ppl round dont care bout it since theyve got cable and stuff, for we, 56k users, its great to have things loading fast. So, if design was made cooler, it would mean slower...
