Ok, a little bit of advice. When making a screenshot of a game, don't save it as a bitmap, in paint, click File then Save as, and then you see window, next to save there is a drag-down bar, click on that, then click on PNG then click save. Bitmaps taking longer to upload, and are hell on a 56k connection, so saving it as a png would drastically reduce the file size, while still keeping the exact same quality.

Uh, yes... and next time please use PNG instead of bitmaps... The filesize is muuuuch bigger with BMPs so the loadingtimes are horribly horrible... and my internet is terribly terrible (mkay, it's not that bad, but the sentence sounds much cooler this way ;D )
This should btw also solve your uploading problems...

dunno whether it's been said, (can't be arsed to read all the posts :D) but you can also lessen the final file size by reducing the amount of colours used, so instead of 16bit (16 million colours), use 8 bit (256 colours), this will normally chop off a meg from the final size.

I don't like PNG, or BMP. I am still 100% behind GIF, much nicer for ppls connexs'

I don't suppose that you guys have heard of jpeg? You know, the most widely used image format on the internet?

But if you must use a lossless format use PNG as said above.

And unless the GIF is animating, use some other format coz it really sucks!

hmmm, wrong place to post soomething like that... this is a screenshot post and should also be handled like this... (and ugh, jpeg's quality cannot reach the ones from png or gif and if you set the quality high, the filesize is darn big again ;D)

OK, thats it man. ONE more mention of the screenshot fake and I'm going to bite off someones head. Leave it the F*CK alone.

Seriously, I do not wish to be banned, but I fear my toungue may get the best of me if that subject is not left alone. Its old, its tired, Vegetable apologized, and it should be long freekin' dead.

I honestly dont think Vegetable was causing any trouble man, I think he was just trying to keep down any double posts. There are few as is, and I know I at least get kinda excited when I see a new post, yet dissapointed to see that It's already been posted. Thats all (I think).

I just tried a few of my games and the only one i got to work was Timesplitters2 - at 45 fps too!! incredible!!

It does usally crash shortly after you start wandering about though

*edit* actully this level seems ok others crash though,
all the in game graphics i can get to appear are pretty much complete (just slow) also there a strange shadowy darkness that appears but only when you move.
BTW the strange looking dark blobs is the snow effect, which does look a little diffrant than on the console, but its all good!

thats running on a mid-low end spec
xp1700+, geforce 4 ti4200 128mb , 768mb SDRAM (133mhz)

(ignore the spec that was in my profile its all been updated a little now)
