Selling my Adaptoid

Awesome Torek, nice profit.. but for that much, you could have gotten an old N64, tons of games, 4 controllers, expansion pack, etc etc.. :p Also, cutting the N64 controller wire and finding the correct wires to connect to a male USB should allow the adaptoid driver to be used as it doesn't seem like there's any extra hardware on the converter.. may be wrong on that though.

Mine is up to $208 with the last minutes of the auction left. Trouble is the person who bid that amount has a -1 rep (so will be waiting for funds to clear).

Will annoy me if he is pissing about as the $125 bidder may just get one from elsewhere in the meantime!

I believe you can do second-chance offers to the next-highest bidder if the winning person skips out on paying... hopefully you'll get the insanely high amount of $208 :p Man, I am really having a hard time resisting the temptation to sell my adaptoids...

You should have blocked bidding from buyers with negative reputation in your eBay preferences, thats what I did.

I thought I had done - evidentally I didn't. I have done now though for all future auctions.

Congrats Trotterwatch! Excellent Profit! Good luck with the guy with negative feedback. If I were you, I would try to give the second chance to the guy that offered $206 inmediatly if that's possible, that's just 2 bucks less :)

The problem is the only reason it went to over $200 was because of this other bidder. If I offer the 2nd chance, shouldn't it then go back to the original bid (ie before the bidding war started).

I sorta bs'd about the whole NA105 thing, but it made sense so I went with it.

I saw yours go for 208? So i put BIN @ 200, thats still a 666.66% profit on a 30 buck adaptoid.. er... okay thats not a good sign

anywho, we'lll see how it goes. its my only adaptoid but thats too much $$ to turn down

$125 which would still do me - though I know from the history the bidder would have went higher (which is why I was hoping the other buyer would pull out).

Never count on a person pulling out, people get caught up in the moment and... (yes, this applies to bidding as well.) I myself have a bad habit of upping my previous maximum bid just for that "win" feeling - mind you I don't go much higher and DO pay if I win ;)
