I must say I am quite impressed with the progress of this emulator... it was not so long ago that that it had its first release and its already running commercial games.

This is one to keep an eye on I think.

well unzip everything in a folder
then drag your gamecube isos over the .exe and drop them.
this emu has no GUI so youll have to do it that way.
you can also make a shortcut of GCube on the desktop and drop the files on that one

I'm not sure if I had the same problems as you, Kyoshi, as you have not described what problem you are having.

The problem i had was that no graphics at all would display in the video window, i have however fixed this by making the emulator run fullscreen. To do this add a "-f" (no quotes) to the command line in your shortcut, your shortcut should read something like:-

"C:\blah\blog\gCube.exe" -f

(WITH quotes and your own directory structure)

then simply drag your GCMs, DOLs, etc, onto the shortcut.

If anyone can tell me why graphics won't work in a window then please do, they work fine in gCube v0.1, i have a Radeon 9800PRO 128mb on Win 2000 /w Omega Drivers 4.6 (2.5.51), 1024mb Ram, Athlon XP 3000. Help will be very much appreciated.

Cheers,

I seem to have no luck with software lately :p I've tried that -f shortcut method with the drag and dropping, however all it does is go into fullscreen but never inits the graphics itself. In a window all you get is the border of the graphics window, but its see thru. I've got a Radeon 9600 Pro/WinXP and Catalyst 4.7's. Seems like a pretty safe bet to say its the drivers. Maybe they dont support the extentions that are mentioned in the readme? I havent had a chance to look into that yet tho, and it'd suprise me if they didnt, but ya never know I guess till ya look into it :p

Thanks!it finally worked!and guess what?i never thought my graphic card suck so badly..when i tried to run the game..it said something about my comp unable to support the texture :paperbag: ..anyone used the emu to run Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life?

I have tried Harvest Moon with no luck, all it displays is this image which I assume is supposed to be the "Licenced By Nintendo" screen, the emulator didn't progress beyond this although i only left it for about a minute or two! :yucky:

I had another breakthrough today with the problem of gCube not displaying graphics in a window...in as much that i can NOW run games in a window  .

Load the game as normal in FullScreen mode, when graphics start to display (i.e. the GCM, DOL or whatever is fully loaded) press the F10 key (a cursor will appear in the middle of the screen) and then follow that with the F3 key, the video should then change to windowed mode and the graphics displaying fine and normal (well...they do with me anyway :p ), to recap:-

1) Load fullscreen
2) When Graphics Display Press F10
3) When Cursor Appears Press F3

I hope this helps some of you in getting gCube to work properly, and if anyone can explain why this happens then please help :(
