It gets to me too. I had a bit to say about it here
Revival of posts is very annoying, especially if no new content is added or the original question is answered. It's counter-productive if there is a genuine thread that gets pushed down because of this. We have a fairly large board, but this stuff does not go unnoticed.

I did notice that DOGG, and I do appreciate any backing I can get. I know this has to be VERY annoying to alot of people. Hey, look, we got Clements in here. That'll work. Just kidding Clements. Only a person other than yourself can add or subtract from your reputation. Based on the post, that person can either give you a rep point, or take one off. This determines your title. I'll be nice and give ya a rep point.
