save files corrupted?

I recently reformatted my computer. However, when I reinstalled project 64 and copied all of my save files back, none of them work! Project 64 is looking in the right folder, it will tell me something is there but it wont open it. Any idea on this?

Are you trying to load the saves by pressing F7? Or are you talking about native saves (SRAM)?

native saves arent working at all. F7 will load its save but then i cannot save over it, so i am stuck there too.

If your files were copied from a cdrom, they're now set to read-only. Change that and they should work.

thanks! that fixed my problem. i copied them from my desktop and did not realize it would set them read only
