Resident Evil director's cut DS edition

Hi i got this originally in an image format. it loads up to the part where it says: this game contains scenes of explicit violence. Then it doesn't load the menu.

I'm using ePSXe v1.5.2

Specs:
Windows Home
Intel Extreme Graphics 2
512 megs of Ram
1.4 g htz Pentium M Centrino Processor

I managed to play around with the settings so it could show the main menu with the wrong colors, no sound, and i can't do anything.

I'm using Eternal SPU plugin 1.41
Pete's OpenGL 1.76 graphics plugin

Any help Plz.

Btw i would have been able to search on this but it seems all the posts besides this page of threads have disappeared on this forum. Any one know about that too?

Have you tried Pete's DX6 D3D plugin or P.E.Op.S Soft GPU? I doubt that Intel graphics has enough OpenGL support to use the OpenGL plugin.

yup treid them too. same results: doesn't load the main menu just sits there after the violence warning

Have you tried it with epsxe 1.6.0?

No problem.

It's a good practice to check that you're using all the latest versions when something doesn't work.

so very true... or in some cases, use previous versions if it dosent work on the latest.:bunny:
