is there any way you could allow the escape button to close the entire program (instead of alt-f4)?

im running project64 in a mame cabinet, and i have one button bound to the esc button. Escape closes all of my other emulators... I know i am not the only person with this same problem.

No, this won't be included since pj is discontinued. If you ask caustik, the author of pj64k very nicely, maybe he can implemt it. But I see no reason to it. Just end emulation (f12) in you're in fullscreen, then close it.

He already said he has a MAME cabinet... I believe the goal is to not use a keyboard or mouse.

I've been thinking. I _might_ be able to fix Project64 1.5 for you, if I could get the exe unpacked. Unfortunately, it is not packed with UPX, and none of the downloads in the unpacker section at Protools seem to be working.

that would be great if someone get's this working for me, but there would be no way i could figure it out on my own... :(

That would be nice to have the escape key be exit, and then Alt+Enter could be made for the fullscreen hotkey. :) If you actually do it I would like to have a copy of it too. :)

Then someone should change escape to exit like asdf was asking for and, if someone does it then I would like a copy. :)

P.S. The letters ASDF are the home row keys that the left hand rests on. :)

strange: The secretary here uses a dvorak keyboard.
Stranger: She can type about 150+ wpm and has to have custom double buffered keyboards so she doesn't overrun the keyboard.

Well, I found an ASPack unpacker that seems to work with PJ64 1.5; I was able to unpack it and run the resulting file with no problems. I was also able to load it up in Resource Hacker and make the necessary modification (swap Esc from Fullscreen toggle to exit). However, whenever I tried to run the edited file, Windows said it was not a valid executable.

Anybody know of any other freeeware/shareware resource editors? The source code for PJ64 1.5 would also work. :p
