Just to let you know, I've written a compatibility list based on the findings here. I figure I'll post it when you' re ready to release your rdb.:)

Ok, Diddy Kong Racing. I can confirm that when AA is on, my system will consistently crash on the track select screen (when doing a single race). It matters not whether AA is enabled through PJ64 or NVmax, the effect is the same.

That's a whole system crash by the way, very nasty.:plain2:

is that windowed, fullscreen, or both? i cant replicate. what do you mean "when doing a single race"? there is no track select screen in singleplayer

Doomulation

?????????????????????????
I've got an update for ya, Smiff. Not a really big one, but anyway...
Well, in megaman64/legends, enable force normal blending in dungeons. This makes you see the whole rooms, but walls gets transparent. Still, it is much better. And disable it when getting outside dungeons, or in cut-scenes. This will only cause problems otherwise.

Both.

"When doing a single race" (as opposed to the Adventure mode:sly: ). Of course there is a track select screen in singleplayer; it's the same one you use for multiplayer. There is a time trial mode after all.:p

I guess I should' ve just called it the "Tracks" mode and avoided the confusion.:lookaway::colgate:

Thanks everyone, we are doing well here but its obvious this is going to take time, it would be helpful if other people would crosscheck everything, for example, person X says "Game Y crashes when you do Z but this can be fixed by F" and then at least one other person comes along and says theyve reproduced (or just as useful, cant reproduce) that result. You can see why, its not that i dont trust anyone, it just speeds this up a lot because everything has to be checked.

Don't feel like youre redundant because someone has already said what you were going to say, the more times i hear it the better as long as its still in the "check" section of the list!

Right now im interested in any games that are improved by Counter Factor 1 and/or Larger Compiler Buffer, someone mentioned Hercules, thats a good one, how about some more :) Its ok if the game is slower as long as its clearly smoother (some people are better at spotting this than others).

No worries Smiff. Like you said, better to get it right than to get it soon.:)

Anyway, DK64. At first glance the story skip issue seems to be plugin related, given that the same exact type of lock-up occurs in PJ64 and 1964 (right after K Rool's ship appears, with DK in the water able to swim around???). Then I tested the 1.2 and 1.4 cores of PJ64, both using the D3D6 1.2b plugin, and here's what happened. In the 1.4 core the lock-up occured identically as before. In 1.2 though, the lock-up was much sooner, as the camera flys through the "head" of DK mountain. DK himself did not end up in the seen when using 1.2.
What do ya think? My money's on the core being at fault.:plain:

Hiya Smiff, I hace a save state just before one of the Mini-Games in Mario Party 3, It at the instructional part. When you push start and it goes into the mini-game all you see is white, unless you in full screen in witch case I think it's black, but anyways, I tried changing the SMCM settings, nothing seemed to fix it.

It's the first Deul Mini-Game in the Mini-Game room, "Vine with me".

I can't seem to get in, I can email it to you, it's only 911k, if you don't mind getting it that way. If not then I'll try agin later.

Destruction Derby is another game that loves CF1.Along with CF1 it also loves a really fast cpu though.Although still not perfect,it certainly is the smoother D. Derby I've ever seen on any emulator.

Ok, getting a fatal exception in the video plugin when finishing the first level on Glover. The snapshot is the error box when using the 1.3 plugin, but the problem exists with any one of them.
