Is it really playable?
I have the PAL version and everytime I want to climb up on a ladder i get an error.
Can someone post the settings for this game.

well, i played the game pretty far with a us version of the rom in pj64 1.3 so i think that it still works in 1.4 . the us version works

Yes sometimes it happens on them, not in every level but most of them.
This is one of them.

I have the European version and it works just fine for me, apart from some sound stuttering in windowed mode. PJ64 1.4, latest RDB

yea i was useing the pal ver also, well i don't remember if this is the SMCM error but try to put "protected memory" and see if it helps, also tryTLB and check if it happens with native save as well

I have exactly the same problem as Armitage. However my problem is with Rayman 2 (U) (!) ROM. When Rayman climbs a ladder in the Bayou level I get the same error message:

Unhandled R4300i Opcode and then emulation stops the emulator does not respond. Btw I have the same problem using:

PJ64 1.3
Pj64 1.4
PJ64 1.50 Beta 1
1964 0.72 with 0.73 patch.

I am using the latest RDB with PJ64 1.4 & 1.50 Beta 1.

I am using Jabo's latest Video, Audio, and Input plugins with PJ64.

I tried Ogy's suggestion and it does not work for me - it causes an Unknown address error.

I would appreciate any help in solving this.

I can get up to level 7 (Cave of Bad Dreams), and I have gotten up to where you must fight the green guy. At the end of the fight (and halfway through it), the green guy jumps to the next platform and misses! After seeing this, I looked at a read me and realized that it is not supposed to do that. Has anyone else had this problem? I cannot beat the level until I can figure out how to make the guy land on the platform like he is supposed to.

All right, I got past the problem! Woohoo! I just switched to interpreter during the battle, and on the second time playing him (he missed the first time so I killed myself), he landed on the platform. Now I am up to level 9 I think.
