Ok, we have been getting loads of posts with people complaining about an error message saying "Out of memory" or something similar under Windows XP. There's an easy fix for this, set the compatibility setting for PJ64 to Windows 98/ME. To do this right click on project64.exe and select "Properties". There go to the "Compatibility" tab. Set the compatibility mode to Windows 98/ME there.

Yes... Some users have also had success when updating to newer drivers. So, make sure to update to the latest drivers frist, and if that doesn't work, compatibility mode it is.

Wish i could try it :/ .....no access to link :(.... i tried the compatibility settings before reading it here but still no luck on gettin project64k.exe to run without the "jump table" error. Project64.exe runs fine and I did change the compatibility setting on the specified exe file but nothing....

video drivers up-to-date too

please post a accessable link or pm it to me so i can try this fix

if you are running SP1 or lower and have a VIA based motherboard pls update to SP2 as SP2 contains newer drivers for the AGP controller and SMBUS controller which manages the memory controller.

I have a VIA chipset motherboard, running SP1 and never had this kind of a problem. Oh well, a solution is always welcome.
