Question about Zelda/UltraHLE emu bug

I've almost completed Zelda OOT using UltraHLE. I'm stuck at the spot after the first battle with Ganondorf, in which I'm trying to follow Zelda out of the castle before it collapses. She has just passed through the first barred door and I've been left behind, because the bars are still there blocking the way.
There's a post in the UltraHLE section that explains this as an "emulation bug."
I'm wondering if this is a general emu bug that affects all emus including Project 64 or if it's just a problem with UltraHLE?

Specs:

-866Mhz PIII
-ATI Radeon 7500pci
-Crystal Sound Fusion
-256 mb RAM
-ROM: Legend_of_Zelda,_The_-_Ocarina_of_Time_(U)_(V1.0)_[!]

Doomulation

?????????????????????????
Affects to my knowlege: uHLE & uHLE Alpha. Not sure about uHLE 2064. Only affects those, however.

this is a VERY KNOW issue with ultra hle, I can be corrected by edit the ini file of ultra HLE, I don't remember exactly how. check the help file or the ini

I knew someone was going to ask this question someday. Anyway, there is no known way to fix this. You can still finish the game though. Edit the ultra.ini and remove the // in front of the patch that says something like "infinite time - tower" or "infinite time - whenever a timer comes up" and save the ini. Now play that part again (you'll notice your time cant run out) and when Zelda goes through the first barrier, go back and jump off somewhere (you'll die, but then just respawn). After you've respawned you will be able to go through the barrier. Repeat this for all the barriers 'till you reach the bottom of the tower.

To clarify: you do all this stuff with UltraHLE, NOT PJ64!

Ok, I'll give it a try on editing the .ini file. Someone mentioned something about applying an 'infinite time' cheat. I felt that applying the infinite time cheat (through the menu/GUI) wasn't an option because I'm using the old .ini file that comes packaged with the original UltraHLE version 1. This .ini file doesn't support in-game cheats as far as I know. I tried using the most recent .ini file (which does support cheats) but for some reason I had problems loading the emulator with it. So I had to revert back to using the old .ini file.

And if all else fails, I'm replaying the game using Project 64 and although I still have a ways to go (I'm currently going through the Forest Temple quest) I'll eventually get to the point in the game where I'm currently having trouble. That's the main reason why I was curious if this problem also applies to Project 64.

Thanks again for the help.
