question about requirements

hey all

ive been reading through the info on chancast and noticed recommendations are a 2ghz or higher processor
Mine unfortunatley is a 1.8ghz....but its a amd 64.Specs are

Amd athlon 3000 1.8ghz 939 winchester core
ati x800 xtpe
with 1gb of dual channel 2700 ddr

even though my clock speed isnt up to scratch it still has the necessary power to do a lot more than dreamcast emus.
Would this still run OK on my system or would any one recommend me overclock it ? (which isnt a problem)
i dont want to mess about getting it working THEN have to overclock the cpu.

It should work. The emulator is optimized for Athlon XP/64 CPUs. This means that these CPUs will perform better then Pentium 4 CPUs. So you don't need to overcklock it for most games.

YOU NEED ABOSOLUTLY NO MORE! (1.8 64bit = 3.4 32bit [and u needed 2ghz])
Your specs are superior to all richboy
However, if you know anything about Winchesters, those babies overclock up to 2.5ghz on stock cooling. But if you dont know; dont try it!
