Why are you not allowed to tell how to rip ISOs and ROMs??? I HAVE READ THE RULES AND AM NOT ASKING HOW TO RIP ROMs. I am just curious why we are not allowed to, and I have no clue how to do it, but I guess I just won't ever get to use an emulator...oh well.

P.S. I AM NOT ASKING HOW TO RIP ROMs.

Shrinking does not mean ripping. I have no idea where you came up with this.:plain:
Baseball8z: My suggestion is to try searching on google or something. GC ISO ripping discussion is not allowed because defeating copy protection is illegal, and so, to keep themselves out of trouble, the forum owners have decided not to allow talk of it here, which makes sense to me.;)

To do what??? Yea, I searched it, and it says that it shrinks games to make them able to play. But I don't even know where are how to get games (AND I'M NOT ASKING WHERE OR HOW TO GET THEM) I just have NO clue how to do it. The NES and SNES emulators I got on this other website were really easy to use. Probably because those games are easier to emulate.

EDIT: I was googling everything I could think of for 2 hours prior to my post and yesterday for some time.

you're not allowed to discuss it because the legality is questionable and varies from country to country. And no one wants to take any kind of risk with anything so discussion is forbidden.

As to finding out how to actually rip games, if you can't get an answer with google, chances are you wouldn't understand how to do it anyway.
