ok i downloaded pj64 1.4 and it says i need

"Direct3D failed to initialize your HAL device make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with direct3D 6.0"

ok how do i know what kind of graphic card i have and what can i download so it can work?

you should be using pj64 1.6(the newest version) and what is your graphics card? if you dont know go to run and type "dxdiag" and go to display to find out.

in device it has nothing

but on the bottom of the page it says "the system is using generic video driver...."

Looks like you have no graphics drivers installed and are using generic WinXP drivers. Find out what graphics card/chip you have (use Everest or something) and install the latest drivers from the manufacturers website.

Use Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin, but you'd be better off with a new video card.

Just put those details in and it will give you a download link for your driver.

Hope that helps but I agree with the last poster, that card is prehistoric - you should get a new one, even a £40 card would be leaps and bounds better than that one.

okay, i did that and now my computer restarted. im not extremely computer savy, so could someone walk me through what to do next?. how exactly do i get the driver to activate?
