I am happy to look at other ways if the demand is there cause pay pal does not work. Is there some reason you have problems with it. PM and I can discuss this privately if you wish to and we might be able to find a different method.

about emulation

personaly i don't think emulation will get to far and not just n64 emulation. As long as we expect the CPU to emulate a console core, emulation won't get anywhere. I'm not in the position to suggest how it should actualy be done but maybe someday someone will find another way but till then most emulation has red light. The only thing that makes the N64 emulation possible is becouse todays CPUs are stronger than the N64 core.

I aren’t sure of understanding your comment because my English is VERY basic but I think you did mean an emulation software based, I’m right?

I think the MESS developers desires get it in some future release but you know the MAME ideology: “hi-end emulation justifies some very-hi computers specs even for low-end emulated systems”.

I have just one question concerning this new 1.7 beta:

Is it stable as is? (Without any additional configuration?)

no, the exe is currently less stable than 1.6. the video plugin is about the same i think. but this can improve quite quickly when zil starts looking at the crash bugs.

we will also be providing a bugfixed 1.6x line, that got delayed a bit.

YES! I finally donated $20 to the project64 team. You guys really deserve it, and i wish i could donate more, but i don't have the money right now. Maybe another time i'll donate more.

I think that this is the best emulator to come around. I'm gonna donate, as soon as i scrounge 20 bucks or so. Anyhoo, I think I'm gonna write a graphic plugin for it. We'll see how well it works. But yeah WOOHOO!!!! PJ64 ROCKS!!!! :linux:

I have been using PJ64 as my main emulator for N64 games for a very long time. Nothing pleases me more than a chance to show my real appreciation for your hard work.

Keep up the good work!

I would be more than happy to donate to PJ64 to support on-going developement of the emulator, although i don't want to donate and see no real progress in the next release, im hoping that real progress is being made through the 1.7 beta release, i will more than likely donate in a week or 2 as i would like to test the 1.7 beta, i seriously hope my money helps support the project
