Problems with PJ64 (stuttering and freezing)

My Computer:
Nvidia FX 5200
Intel P4 2.00 Ghz
1 Gb Ram
XP SP2
PJ64 1.6

Jabo Direct3d8 1.6
Jabo DirectSound 1.6
NRage direct input8 V2.18

Basically, When playing a game, video and sound stutters occasionally. Although playing WoF it completely freezes.

Any ideas of what I should do?

It also may be that you have some program in the background that's polling memory occasionally. Are these slow downs predictable coming in frequent intervals or is it just mostly random?

It seems random. They last for about 3-8 seconds then stop. About 5-8 minutes pass then it happens again.

The program that i have running is GBPVR (My HTPC Application that my ROMS launch from)

I just updated my video driver. I havn't had a chance to play on the emu yet. I'll post back later tonight.

try increasing the PJ64 priority in process manager to above normal
