Problems with DirectX plugins

I have tried Direct64, Rice's Video, and Jabo's plugins and they all have the same exact issue. The textures, once closer to the camera, get "pulled" and show strange things.. it's very hard for me to explain in words, so these screenshots should so the problem closely. Also, HUD elements sometimes disappear. It happens on every game, too, with Perfect Dark/Goldeneye being the worse (no HUD, hand and gun disappears behind textures, etc. problems).

To show the "spreading" problem:

And to show the no HUD/spreading/etc. issues (I was holding down R and pointing the controller's analog stick to the corner, which is supposed to show a green crosshair and 2 green lines pinpointing the area I was aiming at, for all you non-Perfect Dark players out there):

I've tried various NVIDIA drivers, both 1964 and PJ64, and tried all the settings I could find and try. All do not help.

OpenGL plugins do not have the problem, but they are either too slow (gln64 - tops out at 40vi/s max, even in F-Zero or Zelda) or way too buggy (rice's video - bad flickering problems, corruption, major slowdowns in some larger ares of Goldeneye/PD that aren't present in other plugins or DX mode)

And for the record, other DirectX PC games have no problems like this (HL2, CS:S, UT2k4 (DX), Halo, Splinter Cell, LEGO Star Wars, the list just goes on and on) and play wonderfully on my system. What's up?

Before I reinstalled Windows, i never had all of these problems. I even restored to the restore point I made when I installed and reinstalled all the drivers, no go!

I want to get through PD again for PD0, so i really need some help on this soon! Would be good to see all the nice high-res textures again (in Rice's without the glitchs of OpenGL) - maybe even start making some of my own ( I was working on a nice 1080 remake, but after I reinstalled i lost the files.. :( )

REsponse

My Video = 6800 Ultra

I find that the default jabo's D3D8 1.6 plugin works best on it
compared to other plugins , me and trotter the moderator have
gone a coupple of rounds about plugins ...

I'm new to the forum and the intire emulation sceen
I've always been the last to know hahaha

However in my travels I've become accustom to having
the ability to set what ever options I want in games.
so naturaly I want to do the same with emulators.

I'm going to the programming section of the forum to see what I can do
meanwhile let me know what you think of the default jabo's D3D8 1.6
plugin and if I missed it please tell me your video card model again.
