Conker Bad Fur Day has a "Press L To Levitate" cheat and you probably have turned it on! If you persist that it is not turned on then prove it with a screenshot of the Cheats dialog.

Press Ctrl+C when the game is playing and then uncheck the cheat "Press L To Levitate\Player 1".

This surely isn't the first time when someone experiences weirdness in Concer and insists that no cheats are enabled.

By the way, why do you need the L button to play Conker? I don't remember if I used it while I was playing. The cheat is only activated when you want it (when you press L).

People, try to stay on topic! It is damn annoying to go through all these "spam" posts to hopefully find a solution. We try to make PJ as good as possible and we have not encountered (reported) this problem before so, if he does these simple instructions then we might find an answer.
